This is a single-origin tea “Fukumidori”. It is characterised by its strong taste and sweetness. The wilting process takes about 6 hours in the shade of the trees, which gives it a strong green aroma. Mr Nakashima, the maker of this tea, is one of Sayama’s leading tea producers and was awarded the title of Eternal Tea Saint in 2020.
No additives such as sugar, flavors, or seasonings are used.

About “Onishi-en” and “Fuku-midori”.
“Single Origin Tea Fukumidori” is produced by a master of green tea leaves hand rolling who won the first prize at a national competition eight times. In processing “Fuku-midori”, Onishi-en withers the raw leaves by drying them in the sun for several hours, which brings out floral aroma and strong umami and sweetness.
