Red Buffalo is a sweet and malty oolong sourced from a sustainable family farm in Vietnam’s Son La province. Using responsible farming and production methods this farm is dedicated to offering the highest quality teas including our Flowery Oolong. Both Flowery Oolong and Red Buffalo are harvested from premium Thanh Tam tea bushes which flourish in the fertile soil of the Moc Chau plateau. Young leaves are carefully harvested in summer then sun dried, withered, tossed, oxidized, and fired. The leaves then go through an extended cycle of rolling and drying designed to bring out rich complex flavors.
Recommended Brewing Instructions
Use 1 tsp per 8oz of water.
Your water should be 185-200℉.
Ideal steeping time is 3-5 minutes.
