Harley Estate situated in the midst of the Western Ghats and surrounded by streams and waterfall throughout the boundary is an original British plantation going as far back as 1864 with over 150 years of history. Edmund Broughton Ellicott planted the first set of plants in this scenic area situated right on the foothills of Manjarabad fort. Over the last few centuries, the plantation has maintained its rich tradition of a Total Natural Environment with respect to Nature and the plant.
Now in its 4th and 5th generation group of entrepreneurial planters with a keen eye for environmental preservation and passion for the perfect cup of coffee.
Its coffee estates in Chikmagalur and Sakleshpur are over 100 years old and home to some of India’s winning coffee.
