醉英九 is a black tea produced with the Ying Hong No. 9 cultivar. This cultivar was first successfully produced in 1959 and quickly became one of China’s top black teas. It has a sweet taste and lingers pleasantly in its mouth. The dry leaf is tightly rolled into thin strips and its lovely golden tips can be seen throughout. This tea is harvested this summer (2018) and will be available soon – watch this space for more information!
