BREW ME – BUTTERFLY PEA

Butterfly pea flower tea is a herbal tea, or a tisane. The taste is usually described as “earthy,” and similar
to the flavour of unsweetened green tea. Once water is added to the tea, the deep blue liquid changes colour based on the pH level of whatever is added next. Squeeze in some lemon or add in a bit of citrus juice, and the blue changes to purple. This beautiful, shapeshifting drink is not only a treat for the eyes, but it is also a treat for the body!

INGREDIENTS:
Butterfly Pea

BREWING METHOD:
2-3 gram or 1-1,5 tbsp
350 ml water
80°C water temperature
Steep for 2-3 minutes
Remove tisane and serve
